چکیده

Background: Head injury causes temporary or permanent damage to the brain. The incidence and mortality of head injuries is very high worldwide, so fast appropriate treatment needed. Glasgow Coma Scale Revised Trauma Score are easy use can assess head-injured patients. Objective: To analyze comparison in assessing Methods: This research a systematic review study using PRISMA approach. Predicting the outcome in children with head trauma: comparison of FOUR score and Glasgow Coma Scale.

BACKGROUND Because of the limitations of the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), many scoring systems have emerged and been compared with GCS. Herein, we investigated whether the Full Outline of Unresponsiveness (FOUR) score is better than GCS in predicting morbidity and mortality in children with head trauma. METHODS Patients 2-17 years of age who admitted to the emergency department with head trauma ...

A practical review of the Glasgow Coma Scale and Score.

Since the Glasgow Coma Scale was introduced in 1974,(1) it has become the most common method of describing a patient's level of consciousness.
